By popular request, here are a set of verbs for Latin animal noises, fished out from Lewis & Short. Use them to construct sentences or to practise verb endings. I usually ask the children to write a verb out, and draw the matching animal, or to work with PowerPoint to illustrate the verbs.

Click here to download a PowerPoint exercise matching masculine and feminine animal nouns with the correct form of the adjective. This was written for pupils working on Chapter 2 of Minimus, and is ideal on an interactive whiteboard.

Click here for a Powerpoint presentation with video clips, on impersonal verbs. It's designed to go with Chapter 3 of Minimus Secundus. The video files need to be downloaded separately at the moment: currere, medicamentum, sistere, pomum, aquam, lignum . NB very big files!

Click here for a SmartBoard .xbk exercise practising orders, singular and plural. This one goes with Minimus Chapter 7.
If you have access to a SmartBoard, try this Minimus and Vibrissa noughts and crosses game! Download the Smart .xbk file here )or you could always print the picture below and cut out the pieces)
